Regional Policy Dialogue "Productivity and Sustainability in Latin America and the Caribbean: Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Financing"

This regional dialogue meeting is organized by the Competitiveness, Technology, and Innovation (CTI) Division of the IDB's Productivity, Trade, and Innovation (PTI) Sector and will focus on addressing the region's productivity gap, with an emphasis on two key aspects: strengthening competitiveness mechanisms and generating financing instruments that more effectively support innovation. One of the most important objectives on the agenda will be to generate a discussion among government representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean, delving into the importance of addressing productivity from the services and manufacturing sectors, and identifying public intervention instruments that can be scaled through new innovation policy financing schemes, driving smarter inclusive economic growth.
