Event detail:

This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the Canadian food allergens labelling regulations and how they are enforced and applied. In particular, participants will learn about the prevalence and symptoms of allergens and how they can be avoided; what are the priority substances for Canada; what are the roles and responsibilities for importing food; and the tools and resources available to comply with the Canadian regulations. This workshop represents an excellent opportunity for competent authorities to learn about Canada’s strong food safety system for allergens regulations, and also for exporters interested in the Canadian market.
