Third High-Level Dialogue of the Regional Climate Change Platform of Ministries of Economy and Finance

The Third High-Level Dialogue of the Regional Platform on Climate Change of Ministries of Economy and Finance of Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in San Pedro, Belize, from August 30 to 31, 2024. During the event, the progress of the work plan will be evaluated, a new one for 2024-2025 will be approved, and the pro tempore presidency will be transferred from Chile to Colombia. In addition, a shared regional vision on sustainable finance will be adopted. Created in 2022 and supported by the IDB, the Platform has made significant progress in integrating the climate agenda into the economic and fiscal policies of the region.
