The event "Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity Foreign Affairs Ministerial" brings together foreign ministers from 12 member countries of the Alliance of the Americas: United States, Barbados, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Uruguay. At this meeting, ministers discussed ongoing collaboration to foster inclusive, sustainable and shared prosperity across the hemisphere. During the ministerial, members will review the progress of commitments made at the inaugural Summit of the Alliance of the Americas, celebrated on November 3, 2023. The Alliance seeks to convert the Americas into the most economically competitive region in the world. With this objective, the ministers will identify opportunities to take advantage of the first successes of the initiative, such as the expansion of the enterprise to promote innovation, the access to capacity in the digital economy, the promotion of clean energy and decarbonization objectives, the impulse of the state of law and the strengthening of food security and sustainable food production.
