From farm to table: Agri-food systems and trade challenges in the Southern Cone

The event will focus on the publication "From Field to Table: Agrifood Systems and Trade Challenges in the Southern Cone," which highlights challenges in food systems worldwide. It proposes to address them with sustainable technological innovations and by facilitating international trade. In the Southern Cone, a key exporting region, an IFPRI report is launched to guide the transformation of the regional food system. The approach includes analyzing trade barriers and proposing contributions to the global food system.
