Ecuador - Dialogue of Knowledge in the Paccha parish to strengthen Family Farming in the Campesino Family Agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), in collaboration with the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of the Paccha parish, held a Dialogue of Knowledge in this parish of the Cuenca canton. The event brought together older adults from Paccha and producers of Peasant Family Agriculture (AFC) from various cantons of the province, who immersed themselves in working tables to discuss traditional knowledge crucial for agricultural sustainability. The Dialogue of Knowledge took place in an atmosphere of cultural exchange and knowledge, where producers and elders shared their vast experience in four key areas: soils, moon phases, seed conservation and environmental conservation.
