Ecuador - Theoretical-practical training on pasture conservation by making silos in Cañar

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock delivered a total of 10 livestock technology packages with a subsidy of 75% of the reference cost to producers in the cantons of Paute, Guachapala and El Pan, with the aim of strengthening local livestock production, reducing production costs and increasing profitability for producers. Through the National Livestock Sustainability and Reconversion Project, the Ministry offers a subsidy of the reference cost of livestock technology packages, which represents a significant reduction in investment costs for producers.
