6th International Forum on Circular Economy

The VI International Forum on Circular Economy was held on November 23 and 24, and with the aim of seeking to guide public policies to transform Peru into a country with a sustainable economy, brought together for the first time the heads of six ministries, among them Albina Ruiz, of the Environment (Minam); Jennifer Contreras, in charge of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri); Juan Carlos Mathews, of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur); Nancy Tolentino, in charge of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP); Ana María Choquehuanca, head of Production (Produce); and Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, in charge of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), who assumed a political commitment to achieve circularity in the country.
