Food and Beverage Industry Forum

The Industrial Union of Panama (SIP) is organizing the first edition of the Food and Beverage Industry Forum. This event will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Sheraton Hotel and admission is free. It will address topics on updating and raising awareness of the food and beverage segment, which represents almost 50% of the industrial Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The forum will bring together government representatives and members of the food and beverage industry to share and study in depth the evolution of the sector, its current situation and future projections. The opportunities and factors affecting the health and safety of food and beverages and the industry's regulatory framework will be other relevant topics to be addressed by the experts. The organization of the forum is a response to SIP's interest in highlighting and deepening the study of the evolution, current situation and future projections of this industry. Likewise, this meeting will be an excellent opportunity to address the regulatory framework of the sector and the opportunities and factors that affect the health and safety of food and beverages. The main objective of this event is to foster a productive dialogue, promote updating and awareness of critical aspects of the industry, and highlight opportunities to improve the quality, regulations and safety of the products produced in the country.
