IX Milk Congress

The dairy chain is an important segment of the national economy as it is one of the most important productive chains, generating multiple benefits for the development of communities. Every year the Honduran Chamber of Milk (CAHLE) holds the National Milk Congress and brings together hundreds of dairy farmers from all over the country, milk processors, different public and private sector companies that are influential in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector in terms of equipment, goods and services, as well as academics, technicians and extension workers in primary production, senior executives and union leaders, researchers, government representatives, among others. Due to the type of public to which the event is addressed, it is an ideal space to strengthen cooperation between the technical community and the business world, interpersonal relationships and promote the transfer of knowledge, experiences, challenges, and opportunities, as well as the competitiveness of the dairy sector in Honduras aimed at improving the production, industrialization, marketing and consumption of milk and its derivatives. The organization of the IX Congress expects to receive more than 500 national and foreign guests and will include an industrial and commercial fair in which different companies will present innovative equipment and supplies for the sector.
