Nicaraguan Congress of the Dairy Sector

The opportunity was propitious for FEPALE to continue working in the line of actions that it has been developing in the promotion of increased consumption of dairy products and, in the particular case of Nicaragua, in the promotion and development of the School Glass of Milk Programmes in Latin America. This activity was a new step in the process of deepening links, raising awareness and engaging government authorities and the private sector to promote the implementation of the School Glass of Milk Programme in that country. All these actions began some years ago, but since 2013 they have intensified, and in 2014 a visit was made by the Secretary General of FEPALE (Dr. Eduardo Fresco) with the aim of starting to motivate the realization of a project that leads to the implementation of the school milk programme.
