Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative
The Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative was a three-year project funded by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in partnership with the OECS Commission. This initiative offered incubation and acceleration programs, including virtual courses and online training, a mentoring program, in-person events, investor linkages and networking opportunities in six (6) OECS member states: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica , Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It focused on green companies whose business models include solutions aimed at contributing to their country's climate and sustainable development goals, as well as high-potential startups in the growth stage. Both programs prioritized women entrepreneurs and the creation of green jobs for women and youth.
